According to a report by Sacnilk, Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming film Toxic has officially crossed the $120,000 mark in USA advance bookings with seven days still remaining before its premiere. Latest figures from Venky Box Office show that the movie has grossed $121,258 across 204 locations and 589 shows, selling over 5,550 tickets in the North American market while adding roughly $10,000 daily in advance sales.

Texas and California Drive U.S. Advance Sales

A state-wise breakdown indicates that Texas is leading the U.S. market by a substantial margin, accounting for nearly $47,000 from 1,984 tickets across 157 shows. California ranks second with $19,244 from 888 tickets sold, while states like Georgia, Washington, and New Jersey have each crossed $4,000 in pre-sales. Among theater chains, Cinemark holds the largest share with $98,128, led by Cinemark Pflugerville 20 and XD in Texas, which alone generated over $9,000.

Strong Demand for Telugu and Kannada Versions

In terms of languages, the Telugu-dubbed version leads overseas demand with $66,896 grossed from 3,052 tickets sold. The original Kannada version follows closely with $54,363 from 2,498 tickets, signaling sustained cross-language appeal following Yash’s KGF franchise. Outside North America, pre-sales are also seeing positive traction across Australia and New Zealand.

Andhra Pradesh Ticket Hike Strategy

Back in India, release plans in Andhra Pradesh point toward higher pricing. Early 6 AM special shows are slated to cost between ₹500 and ₹600 per ticket, while regular shows for the first five days are expected to see a ₹50 to ₹100 hike. Nationwide advance bookings in India are set to open on August 21, 2026, five days before the scheduled theatrical release on August 26.

Potential 100-Crore Opening Record

Trade analysts highlight that if Toxic achieves a worldwide opening exceeding ₹100 crore, Yash will move closer to securing a rare hat-trick of 100-crore-plus global openers alongside his upcoming project, Ramayana. Currently, Prabhas remains the only Indian actor to hold a hat-trick of ₹100 crore openers, leading overall with six such films including Adipurush, Salaar, Kalki 2898 AD, and The Raja Saab.
